Day 15

I love the music I have in my life.
At work I get to hear Christian music all day.
On walks I can take my favorite tunes.
While working out I can have music to pump me up.
When I need reminders of His love and grace I can stick in my headphones.
While relaxing I can play something soothing.
It's great that I have so many choices for music. I love it.

Day 3

I love my job!

I don't think there is another place on earth quite like Hope Family Thrift Store.

Not only do I get to work for a Christian organization, but I also get to say that 100% of our profits go to helping disaster survivors. The people that I work with are great and it's nice to have a part time job to supply some wants in my life.

It's not perfect, after all the let me in the door, but I'm thankful I get to work there.

And today we are having our monthly 50% off almost everything in the store. So if you get a chance come by and see us. We will be running around like crazy, but happy that we get to work for such a great place. Always a new adventure and challenge.

I love the job that God has given me.

Simple Nail Polish

For Christmas my sister Sarah and friend Debra bought me nail polish. I was thrilled to try out some new colors

Source - Mom

One day I painted my nails. It was so pretty and bright. It made me feel loved. Over the next few days the polish chipped and began to fall of. Now I have half-painted nails.

But it made me remember something that I heard one time. I can't remember if it was my Dad or someone else. They said that perfectly manicured fingernails meant that that woman didn't do anything worthwhile with her life. Doing worthwhile things are hard work.

So I must do some worthwhile things because my polish looks like it's been through a battle. But now I smile when I look at it. I must be doing something worthwhile.

Simple Honesty

Speak honestly to everyone. If you haven’t said “I love you” to your family in a while, take a few moments to tell them so.
Don’t flatter someone that you dislike. Ask God to help you show them kindness from the heart.
Let your conversation always be full of grace. And don’t keep thoughts and  feelings to yourself. When someone asks “how are you?” answer them with whatever is on your heart.
Honesty is a great gift. Use it well.
