Day 21

My blogs. Meditations of His Love, I’ve really enjoy writing for you and seeing people be encouraged and strengthen through those posts. Homemade Ministry, you were my first blog and I still enjoy having you around to encourage girl in their craft lives. A Christian Playwright, I enjoy dreaming about all the things I plan to do with you. I love writing plays to put on you and seeing what God will do with you. Simple Thoughts, you in many ways are my personal blog. In you I share my heart and stories of what God has been teaching. And for all these blogs, I pray that God will continue to bless and encourage other through you. 

Simple Fun Blog

I found a fun blog that's all about crafting simply. With tutorials and fun crafting tips, this is a great blog. Besides, it had simple in the title. I couldn't resist telling you guys about it.

Simple Reason

Sometimes I feel like I’m not accomplishing much with blogging. I put my heart and soul in a post and … there are no comments. Stats are low. No one seems to notice.

Why do I even put out all this effort anyway? I mean it’s a lot of work. Do I do it for the comments? Do I do it so I can say, “I’m a blogger?” Do I do it because I want to inflate my ego and prove I’m right? Do I do that to get people’s attention?

Sadly sometimes as I look at my low stats, few comments, and few followers, I think that if I just had a few followers, comments, or hits I would be happy. But to place value in them is to place value in the wrong things. I don’t blog for comments or followers. I blog for the glory of God and to point others to Him. If I do that then I have done well, no matter what the stats say. If I have touched one life for the better, that is good enough.

The reason I blog is simple. It’s for Him. Without Him I would give it up.

So I pray that you are blessed today. I pray that will help me to look to Him and not stats.   

Simple Update

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you all what is going on. We had a very nice funeral and my cousin said some very nice words. They were very encouraging.
I am doing better. Still a little tired, but doing better.
This month I have scheduled out blog posts so that I can do Script Frenzy. I'm going to try to write out 100 pages in play/plays by the end of this month. I think I can make it.
